Editorial Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026.

Dental information affects real decisions, so we hold our articles to clear standards. This page explains how we work.

Who writes our content

Articles are written by the dental studio. editorial team. We are explicit about what that means: the team writes general educational content from published guidance. Unless a page names a reviewing dentist, an article has not been individually clinically reviewed.

How we research

  • We start from recognised public health and professional sources, such as the NHS, the American Dental Association (MouthHealthy), the US National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • We prefer primary guidance over blogs, forums and marketing pages.
  • We list our main sources at the end of each article so you can check them.

How we write

  • Plain language, with technical terms explained.
  • No exaggerated claims, miracle cures or fear-based selling.
  • We say clearly when something depends on the individual and when to see a dentist.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows a “last updated” date. We review articles when guidance changes or when readers point out a problem. If we publish something inaccurate, we fix it and update the date. To report an error, use our contact form.

Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links

Our articles are not written to promote specific products or brands. If we ever include sponsored or affiliate content, we will label it clearly on the page where it appears.

Limits of our content

Our content is general information. It does not replace professional advice. See our Disclaimer.
